Providing temporary and short term contract Nursing staff and Healthcare Assistants to Public and Private Hospitals and Rest Homes in Wellington and throughout New Zealand.

    Welcome to Duty Calls

Duty Calls is a Wellington based Nursing Bureau that provides Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Healthcare Assistants for the health sector.

Duty Calls has a history of over 20 years and specialises in the supply of temporary staff to Public and Private Hospitals and Rest Homes in Wellington and throughout New Zealand.  We aim to provide a quality service by providing staff that are competent and caring. We know our staff well, knowing instantly who is available in each area, ensuring a quick response when we are called upon to provide temporary workers at short notice. We pride ourselves in being a Bureau with a strong local knowledge of the sector.

We encourage overseas Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses (RN’s and EN’s) and Healthcare Assistants with current New Zealand work permits and visas to join us. We offer competitive rates across the board. If you are planning to work as an RN or EN you must have NZ Nursing Registration and a current New Zealand practising certificate. More information can be found at the government immigration site www.immigration.govt.nz and the Nursing Council www.nursingcouncil.org.nz. Our local knowledge will be a great asset when you first arrive in Wellington.

We are a subsidiary of Healthcare of New Zealand which employs over 6000 staff across New Zealand.
